Well! We are mere HOURS away from the big moment when the kids go back to school. Of course, I also go back to school – Algonquin College Heritage Institute – where I will be teaching Communications courses in the Heritage Carpentry, Advanced Housing, Heritage Masonry and the new Police Foundations program. I will also be teaching a Dual Credit class at Smiths Falls District Collegiate Institute  – a team-teaching assignment with a Grade 12 English teacher. Suffice it to say, I should be staying out of trouble.

The fall also marks the start of writing and editing articles for the various visitor guides I do.

Here is the August Lanark County Council media release, along with a backlog of columns: July 26 (Take Cover Immediately); Aug. 2 (Gone Buggy); Aug. 9 (The Rareness of Water); Aug. 16 (Hey! Look! A Distraction!); Aug. 23 (The Water Slide Shift) and Aug. 30 (What I Did on My Summer Vacation).

Enjoy these last few days of summer!
